West Volusia Hospital Authority, prior audit follow-up: operational audit

Pursuant to Section 11.45(3)(a), Florida Statutes, the Florida Office of the Auditor General is to conduct audits of the accounts and records of any governmental entity created or established by law as determined appropriate by the Auditor General. The Florida Office of the Auditor General conducted an operational audit of the West Volusia Hospital Authority (Authority) and issued its report No. 2022-174 in March 2022. The objective of this audit was to perform, no later than 18 months after the release of that report, appropriate follow-up procedures to determine the Authority's progress in addressing the findings and recommendations contained within report No. 2022-174. The report is submitted to the Legislature.
