Description
Pursuant to Section 11.45(3)(a), Florida Statutes, the Florida Office of the Auditor General is to conduct audits of the accounts and records of any governmental entity created or established by law as determined appropriate by the Auditor General. The Legislative Auditing Committee, at its March 13, 2023, meeting, directed the Florida Office of the Auditor General to conduct this operational audit of the City of Delray Beach. This audit of the City of Delray Beach (City) focused on City compliance with the interlocal service agreement (ISA) with the Town of Highland Beach (Town) for comprehensive fire and emergency medical services and selected City administrative activities and operations. The report is submitted to the Legislature.
