Description
Pursuant to section 893.055, Florida Statutes, the Florida Department of Health shall report on performance measures to the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives by December 1. Performance measures include, but are not limited to, the reduction of the rate of inappropriate use of controlled substances, reduction of the quantity of controlled substances obtained by individuals engaging in fraud and deceit, the increased coordination among partners participating in the prescription drug monitoring program, and the involvement of stakeholders in achieving improved patient health care and safety and reductio of controlled substance abuse and controlled substance diversion.
