Description	Description Pursuant to section 400.0065, Florida Statutes, Florida's Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, under the Florida Department of Elder Affairs submits a report to the Governor, the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the United States Assistant Secretary on Aging, and the secretaries of the Department of Children and Family and the Agency for Health Care Administration each year at least 30 days before the regular session of the Legislature. The report describes the activities carried out by the office, the state council, the districts, and the local councils in the year for which the report is prepared.
