Description
Section 11.45(2)(l), Florida Statutes, requires the Auditor General, at least once every 3 years, conduct operational audits of the accounts and records of eligible nonprofit scholarship-funding organizations receiving eligible contributions under s. 1002.395, including any contracts for services with related entities, to determine compliance with the provisions of that section. Such audits shall include, but not be limited to, a determination of the eligible nonprofit scholarship-funding organization's compliance with s. 1002.395(6)(l). The Auditor General shall provide its report on the results of the audits to the Governor, the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Chief Financial Officer, and the Legislative Auditing Committee, within 30 days of completion of the audit.
